Perfect sleek professional quality flat iron.
It is light in weight, handles easily, doesn't burn your finger tips, has ceramic plates, glides down the hair, heats up fast, adjustable temp, cools quickly so you are not stuck waiting while on the go, makes your hair shiny and perfectly straight with the ends just slightly turned under. You can make curls if you want to but I like my long hair straight. I use it 3 times per week and I need to order the product that keeps your hair from drying out. My stylist said that was a good idea. She was very impressed with the Solano as it is not as well known as the other brands. She paid almost $100 more for the one she uses in her salon and it has no advantage over the Solano.But so far it is perfect and I am careful in boxing it to take it to the gym or on a trip. Treated with care, this product should outlast me:)

DEFINITELY WORTH IT
I had completely given up on straightening my thick, wavy hair because either only one side would straighten or it would straighten temporarily (with frizz, lots) and flip out in 3 hours. However I decided to spend the extra few bucks and buy a real good straightener and I bought this off of Folica because of the good reviews and it is the BEST HAIR INVESTMENT I'VE EVER MADE!! Solution for problems related to the power cord
Customers who have problems with the power cord for the HAI Convertable Ceramic Flat Iron or for any flat iron often have one thing in common: They tightly wrap the power cord around their flat iron prior to placing them away. This improper method of storage will severely damage a power cord for any product. To avoid damaging the power cord, do not wrap the cord around your flat iron. amazing product
This is the absolute only tool that has ever gotten my hair bone straight. It even straightens those little fizzy fly-aways. Love it!
First of all, I'm a hairdresser and not easy to please when it comes to flat irons. We use the 1.5 Croc at our salon for the Keratin treatments. I wanted one of my own because I love that this iron gets 450 degrees (and stays hot!), makes curly or coarse hair straight as a board, and leaves it soft and silky. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I have coarse, colored grey hair and this is the only iron I have tried that works without me having to go over the same strand more than once. I keep it at 430 degrees for my hair and zip right along. Experiment with the temperatures. If your hair is fragile, due to chemical over-exposure, then turn the heat down and by all means...use a heat protectant. Enjoy!!! Top to learn more

For the past 4 years, I'd used a HAI Stik ceramic flat iron, and it worked OK. I never loved it, and the other day it died. So, I need a new straightner STAT, and my hair dresser had used the Croc on me once, and I loved how it looked, so I decided to purchase this one.I have fine wavy hair -- not super thick. If I let it dry naturally, it'd be a frizzy mess, so I blow dry and straighten.The first time I used this flat iron, I cranked it up to the max (450°F), and it totally fried my hair. Works better than I hoped
My wife blamed me for her Chi straightener breaking in Spain, because I bought the 110-220 volt converter. So for the replacement, I went looking for a straightener that could work on 110 or 220. That was one of the things that attracted me to the ProV. But my wife wasn't convinced that it would be any good. After we got it and she used it a few times, she reluctantly admitted that it worked really well. And it cost about a third as much as some other straighteners. I highly recommend this. Better curling than curling iron.
I have long hair and was having trouble curling it with the typical curling iron. My friend had this and I tried it and was convinced I had to get it! Only drawback is that it's hard to curl from the roots--i can only get it to curl an inch or two below the roots which is waaay better than what a curling iron did for my hair. Top to learn more
