I love it!
I always had horrible freeze hair... I look like a lioness most of the time. I have tried more expensive flat irons ($200 range) and yes they leave your hair a little shinier and less flyaways. But this flat iron cuts the time in half since it is a lot wider and gets hot super fast. for the little flyaways add a little bit of serum and perfect. It is pretty cheap and much easier to replace that the expensive one that my son broke. This flat iron was probably dropped a hundred times and still works perfectly fine. I love this straightener
I have had 2 of these straighteners and I am about to purchase my 3rd one! It is the only straightener that hasn't damaged my hair and could keep my hair straight all day! I honestly don't know what I would do with out my straightener! I have used this straightener for 6 years and I have NO intentions of ever changing! I did once and I learned my lesson! I have to say that when I bought conair I wasnt sure & I was desperate. I have tried many well known hair straighteners yet they damaged my hair & gave me horrible results. It took a lot of time picking it out because I wanted a good flat iron, and this one really is!Although I've only had it for a day, I really love it.Pros:-heats of in 30 sec. to a minute-looks nice-light-swival cord/long-it has a lock for the buttons so you don't accidently hit them and change something (you lock it by holding down the minus button)-glides through hair-floating plates (which means the plates have a little "give" or "bounce" to them when you press them together)-leaves hair pin straight, shiny and soft (and I have fairly curling/thick hair)Cons:-leaves hair hot right after you run it through-the outside of the plates gets rather warm-it has a funny smell (which is the avocado oil, I'm sure. I own a 0.5 inch Revlon ceramic flat iron, which I love, so I purchased this 2 inch ceramic flat iron based on that experience. This one has less sturdy casing, does not get as hot, and only has three settings - high, medium, or low. Overall, it does the job, but just not as well as I expected. Great flat iron!
Such a great straightener! I love experimenting with hair styles so I needed a flat iron that could straighten my hair and curl it also. I have thick hair and this gets the job done. I've used this iron on my friends' hairs and their hair varies from short to long, very thin to thick hair. People who've told me that their hair doesn't curl easily, I've proved to them with this tool that it's possible! Works everytime, you just need to know what setting/temperature to use on a hair type. Another feature that I love is that the plates are made of titanium, so I doesn't cause static on the hair like a ceramic flat iron would do. I would recommend this to everyone! Even before buying this tool, I made sure to do my research on it and I'm so glad I bought it. The temperature setting are really great also it can get as hot as 450degress farenheit! i have to say that the iron did a great job in straightening my hair! i'm african american and my hair stayed straight in the rain and in humidity! but it didn't burn my hair like other irons i used and didn't have that burning hair smell. for that i would give it 4 stars. but like another user, my iron started to chip also! i just purchased it last week and used it once on relaxed hair that was blown straight first. so i would give it 2 stars for that. also the iron started to chip in on the top plate in one area, making me think that the iron gets too hot in that once spot.
