LOVE IT!
I usually do not give 5 star ratings and try to get as much truth about a product on my reviews, but I could not find any faults with this product. For a year now I have been a downright junkie to my Chi straightener. I disliked that it singed my hair, and my hands as well. Jose Eber's team was at the Houston Rodeo and talked me into buying their tourmaline straightener. I told them kindly that my Chi was perfect in every way but they insisted on SHOWING me their straightener. I sat down and agreed. The crowd around me touched my hair and commented on how it was like silk. I too liked the feel, and the ease of usage without snagging in the plates. They sold me one with red plates. Certainly not my color, but it was all they had left. I got home with it and after lamenting on the ugly red color, I tried it. Perfect. My hair is like silk and everyone claims it looks more shiny and healthy. I ask people if they can see a difference from weeks ago and they said, yes. I said, well weeks...

Jose Eber Flat Iron
This flat iron does a fantastic job of straightening my hair. It's fast to heat up, does not pull my hair when I am using it and is comparable to my T3. I bought this flat iron because we are going abroad and I needed a dual voltage iron. I only need to run it through my piece of hair to be straightened once and it's straight.I am very pleased with my purchase. This straightener is worth it's money because it really does work.

Awesome!!! Up there with the best Chi, FHI
I bought this flat iron, for my daughter. I didn't want anything to expensive just in case she broke it and I was also glad that it had a dual voltage feature, because we make a yearly visit to the Caribbean, and the voltage in our home there is 220, it gets very annoying to remember to take adapters or plug up a transformer to do your hair every day. This iron is GREAT, works just as good as my FHI platform, for which I paid $260, so well in fact that I've packed my pricey FHI away and we only use the Jose Eber. Well worth (more than)the money, this is a bargain..you'll love it.

THE Best
The José Eber Curling Iron is the BEST I have ever used. I have that flat stick straight Asian hair that DOES NOT curl. Ever. But the stylist proved me wrong and the curls held through brushing AND a night of sleep and rebrushing. They went from Shirley Temple-like ringlets to really pretty loose curls. Everyone was throwing compliments around and I just HAD to go out and grab one for myself.

Works Great!
Great curling iron!. I have straight, straight waist length hair, this iron curls my hair and it stays for 2 days. I don't use it all the time as I am concerned about the affects of heat on my hair (It has only one heat setting), and you have to be careful the first few times you use it or you will burn yourself...I have scars to prove it. It comes with one heat resistant glove to wear on the hand your use to wrap the hair around the shaft.....you have to hold the hair in place a couple of seconds, all the way to the tip of the iron in order to have even curls. I find the glove awkward to use. I bought a friend one for her birthday and she loves it tooo!

Great quality, easy to use, beautiful curls!
I chose this particular curling iron for these reasons:- it was dual-voltage (110-220V). That excluded most everything else.- it was clipless. (Not long ago I bought my first clip iron, the cheap . My intention was to "test-drive it" and find out what I liked and disliked about it, as to be better informed on what to look for in a more expensive one. I knew right off the bat that I hated the clip; not only I found difficult to slide my hair through it (the amount of friction and resistance didn't seem right), it left ugly creases on my hair. Maybe there is a better technique that will leave your hair smooth all over, but I didn't intuitively find it.)- the brand. Love it
First time I've heard about it was at a Southern Women's Show. I did a test run there and loved it. It straightened my hair nicely and gave it a visible shine. I didn't buy it there because they were asking almost $200 for it. When I came home I looked it up on Amazon. It was last season's version for under $40! I jumped at the deal. I've been using it for a few month now and I really love it. I've had others before that were heavy and awkward and I really had to work on getting my hair straight with them. Which this iron I had to do one pass and its straight! It is light and thin and comfortable to hold and use. It has a dial wheel to set the iron to whatever temperature you feel comfortable with and it only heats the plates not the whole iron. It does come with a heat protective glove but I never had to use it. Every time I use it to straighten my hair my husband compliments me on how straight and shiny my hair looks, which he has never done before when I used other irons. Hair also...

Best I have ever owned!
I have this flat iron....and I love, love, love it! It was worth every penny I spent. I live in AK and it is always damp, I can go outside in the damp weather...my hair doesnt blow like a bomb! I also own the 25mm curling iron!

Awesome little mini
This flat iron is tiny, it was even smaller than I expected and it looks like a toy for your daughter's doll but don't be fooled it's worth it weight and then some. It heats up fast and does fantastic curls that hold. It is compact enough to take in a clutch or purse for quick touch ups. I also have the 1" by John Eber ($25) that I bought for my daughetr, I was impressed with that as well, it worked as good as my $260 FHI, and I've since stopped using my FHI. Oh don't forget it's also dual voltage, for those trips to Europe and elsewhere!

Great for short hair
This little flat iron worked great for me until I lost it on a trip last month. I used it for about 6 months prior which I feel is a decent period for an evaluation. I have really short hair and I used it to style my bangs which are 5 in long and the rest of my hair which is 0.5 to 2 in long. Even with such short hair, it worked great. However, the plates were slightly offset to the side (the overlap was not complete) and they met at a bit of an angle (and I mean very small) so the plates were tighter together at the front than towards the back where the handle is. This is why I knocked off a star- the design could have been a little better. The temp was good - I have very fine thin bleached hair and it only felt slightly drier than without any heat styling.- No temp regulation, an on/off switch, and a very long cord.- Hair did not get caught in the plastic casing.- Handle did not get too hot while using.- Worked just as well in Europe (of course...

its brilliant!
I had already purchased the 19mm in london last year, so i knew this item was excellent. The 25mm is brilliant for longer hair & gives a bigger natural wave to the hair rather then a definate curl, but it depends on the thickness of the hair you are working on. Really great for a quick fix & a very glamorous hair style. just be carfeul, the barrel gets extremely hot - gloves are enclosed for your hands but just mind your face, neck etc when using it.

A great curler.
I do not have a lot of experience with hair gadgets. I am mostly low maintenance, a wash and go kind of girl. My purchase was made at a mall kiosk, after a very nice girl used all 3 sizes of curler on my hair. Well, my hair wound up looking fabulous, so I figured heck, if I am going to venture into this realm of hairstyling, I might as well get a great curler. I got just that! I love it. My hair holds the curl all day without using any product (not that I have any), and I get bounce and shine and fabulousness. My only complaint is that it doesn't sit well on a small sink counter, but the kiosk also sells holders that can be attached to a wall. Good for limited space. Anyway, great curl, pretty idiot-proof, (me being the idiot), and mine came with a lifetime warranty as well as a glove to help keep me from burning myself when I was getting the hang of using it. Not sure if you get the glove or the warranty with an amazon purchase, but anyway, I recommend this...

Perfect for hard to curl hair
I have spent hundreds of dollars on hairsprays, gels, mousse, curling irons, hot rollers, etc... to get my hair to curl and hold it. It wasn't until a co-worker of mine, with similar straight hair, showed up to work with nice curly/wavy hair. I asked how she did it and she told me 1) She curled her hair the other day 2) she didn't have any product in her hair and 3) she used a clampless curler. I did my research and found this brand to have good reviews and be a decent price and took the plunge and bought it. I'm so glad I did. Just to test it, I curled my hair last night before I went to bed. I didn't use any product, just curled my clean-washed hair. I woke up with bouncy curls. I touched it up a little bit before I went to work but I didn't use any product to hold the curl. It's now close to 7 pm and my hair is still curly. I can't believe it. I'm so happy. My hair is bouncy and the curls are shiny without having used a gloss. I wasn't really a believer since I have super straight...

Volume Plus!
Ditto on the other reviews - I am SO glad I decided to buy this curling iron! I have thin, fine, straight hair and bought it because I wanted a different look occasionally -- and more volume. It took a while to get the hang of using it -- and the process is time-consuming, but the results are well worth it. I was concerned the small size (13mm) was going to make my curls too tight, but they are the perfect size and they look natural. I used a pick to separate them, a very light dusting of hair spray and a quick scrunch and they lasted all day and into the next. I LOVE how my hair looks and feels -- the curls are gorgeous! I definitely got the look I was after -- and some nice compliments as well.FYI, I have another style spiral curler that has a spring clamp and ridges that wind around it to guide your hair into a spiral. I find this new one produces longer lasting results and is easier to use once you get used to it -- and the swivel cord is a godsend -- no twisting...

Great product
I really liked this product however I was disappointed to find out that I paid twice a much as it retails for. The actual price listed in the packaging of this product is $14.99....but any way it is still a great curling iron. Its heats up fast and it works great. I love the curl pattern that this iron makes which is a lot different than how a curling iron with a clip curls your hair. The only thing is that it doesn't have is a heat control setting on it.
