Things I wanted to know.
I had two questions when I ordered these:One, does a screw hold the blades together so they can be separated for cleaning and sharpening? Yes, it is removable. And the bearing area around the screw is not highly polished so it can take oil.Two, is the thumb hole generous enough for a fat thumb? Yes and no, I'd say. It fits me, but it isn't real roomy. It's an ellipse about 2cm by 2.3cm. If you wear XL gloves, this is probably not the tool for you.One more feature I didn't see in the description or the picture is the gold coating around the finger loops and about 2cm up the stems. Hard-to-find ponytail maker
Had a very hard time finding a pony tail maker like the one I had many years ago. This one works quite well, and although it seems a bit light-weight, it is holding up fine! The supplier even emailed to say when they were shipping, and it arrived well before the expected date. great but needs just the right hair moisture
I've used 2 containers and this stuff is great. I have very thick hair so I needed something strong but didn't want the pine straw hard feel that so many other products left me with. As my title says though, you have to learn to get the wetness of your hair just right before applying this stuff as it CAN get too hard if your hair is too wet. If it's too dry, it won't hold like some guys want their hair. I've gotten to the point where after I shower, I'll towel dry my hair then get dressed and THEN apply the product as letting the hair air dry just a bit more after towel drying seems to let a little more moisture out of the hair and really gets the "just right" matte look. I've tried several other products and this one is hands down the best for the money and is easy to find. Top to learn more
Strong hold without the shine

The best firm hold product for short hair!
I've used a LOT of different styling 'product' over the years. I have short, relatively thin hair that I like to spike a bit in the front. The problem I've had with most gels is that they do just fine for top of my head, but don't keep the bangs spiked up the way I'd like. I've tried a lot of different things before stumbling on American Crew Fiber. It's, in a word, perfect for my application! It's easy to apply, isn't too sticky, (although it is somewhat sticky which is necessary to make it work), looks great for the entire day, and washes out very easily at night.A little of this goes a long way, so start with less than you think you'll need and then use more if necessary. I apply this by putting some in my palms, and then rubbing them together, and then applying to my hair. I'll use a bit more on the front if necessary.American Crew makes a lot of other hair products too, but none of them work nearly as well as this one. I've tried the Pomade, and it's... Excellence in a Bottle
I began using this in late January at the suggestion of my hairdresser. This is clearly one of the best products I have ever used on my hair. I have relaxed, highlighted, short hair and I use about a dime size and work it through my hair in the morning before I flat iron my hair and before I wrap it up at night. The oil is much lighter and really gives my hair a more healthier appearance which is what I prefer. The product scent is heavenly. Great price for a nice product
My salon was out of Moroccan Oil so I tried this instead. The pump packaging is MUCH easier to use and though it's a very similar product it seems a bit "lighter". I notice I need to use more to get the same result, but others may not need to use as much as I do and may even prefer this formula. My shoulder-length hair is very dry and without a product like this it really suffers in our hot, windy, dry summers. I like how the Moroccan Oil smells and the Marrakesh Oil also has a pleasant fragrance but some may find it overly sweet. It reminds me a little bit of cotton candy. It smells and works much better than the Frizz-Ease products without making hair greasy or limp.Even though I use it on wet hair, on dry hair for morning styling and again at night before brushing, this little bottle lasted a very long time. Overall I found this product an acceptable substitute with the same effects (silky, shiny, frizz-free hair) and the Amazon price is 1/3 what I paid. Top to learn more

softer less frizzy hair
I have thick, fine, blonde frizzy hair and Marrakesh Oil Hair Styling Elixir really does soften and reduces frizzies, and I love the fragrance. My hairdresser uses this herself and it works very well , but she has thinner, only slightly frizzy hair. I combine the Marrakesh Oil with Sabino Moisture Block, as my hair requires serious frizz control. I try every new product and really like the softening and frizz control, and combine them in my hands to apply as the Sabino is verrry thick and sticky. They both require some adjustment to figure out how much to apply, but the results are the best I have ever had. I wash my hair at night, apply the products and go to bed (NO BLOW DRYING). In the morning my hair is dry, I sometimes add a little extra Sabino to the ends as I section my hair for each roller, spray with Nexxus Heat Protex Heat Protection Styling Spray ( also helps to soften hair better than any other heat protective styling spray), and put it up in jumbo hot rollers.
