Professional quality and comfortable to use!
This is a nice set of brushes with one full size and one mid-size brush. I use the smaller one as a travel brush. The brushes have nylon bristles that comb and detangle your wet or dry hair. Each bristle is tipped in a small ball which prevents snagging and hair pulling but also protects your scalp from being scratched.I like that the base the bristles are mounted in is a flexible cushion that protects your hair but also lets the bristles follow the contour of your scalp.The handle is molded with ridges and it is easy to hold and does not slip. I find it to be comfortable to use and it feels like a scalp massage while I use it. It is professional grade quality and I recommend it to you. I have thick hair and it works especially well on it.

Wonderful brushes! Nice quality
I ordered these brushes after reading the other reviews and felt compelled to write a review myself. I give these brushes 5 Stars! They were exactly what I wanted! The deep wine red color is beautiful and the holder is great too. The holder is plastic and seems a little flimsy but what do you expect for the price! Some of the other reviews I felt were a little unfair, you have a small bathroom so the brushes sit in a drawer and collect dust... Really??? What did you expect when you ordered 5 brushes, a mirror, hair clips and a holder? Anyways... I love the brushes and hope my review will help others in their decision to purchase or not. :-)

Great gift for a teen or a pre-teen.
I was worried when the color was listed as maroon but it's a very rich, deep red and looks really nice in the packaging. I bought this for an 11 year-old and she will love them. I can't speak to the quality of the brushes because they haven't been used yet but they seem sturdy and well made. This is why I gave it four stars instead of five.

Fun but loud
My daughter, almost 4, LOVES her brush. She says it makes her hair extra soft. However, it is extremely loud and you cannot turn it off. You have to let the entire song play and it is looonnnggg.

Not as functional as I would have preferred...
My four year old loved this brush when we gave it to her as a gift. She loves that it plays the song from the movie and she also likes switching the backs on them. My only complaint is that I wish it had functioned a little better as an actual brush. She tried and tried to brush her hair with this but it didn't do anything. It just kind of grazed over the top (she has very long, fine hair) which was okay because when she did get it into her hair, it got stuck. Overall I would say it's good for all those little girls that love Rapunzel and her magic hair, but I wouldn't count on it to actually use as your child's main hair brush.
