As good as the Chi
I do not have super curly hair but my hair is curly and especially at the ends hard to get straight with this straighter though the ends of my hair are even straight. This straighter from bed head was on my Christmas list and Santa was amazing and got it for me. I love it!!! Its sleek design makes it easy to hold and it looks supper cute even when it's just sitting on the counter. It reduces frizz, adds shine and gives me picture perfect straight hair. The cord is kind of rubbery so it does not easily become tangled or get all bunched up. It keeps my hair straight for hours on end even on the most humid days. It is well worth the price. I have had my hair straightened many times with a Chi and this straighter by Bed Head does just as well if not better, also it's not as expensive. If you don't feel like waiting for it to ship to you it is also available at Target. Get it, you won't regret it.

Gets the Job Done.
The Bed Head straightener has worked great and leaves my hair feeling soft, smooth, shiny and straight. While I'm not sure that this product can deliver "pin-straight" hair as others advertise (though I don't know because I only use it on a medium-to-low setting), for me, it gets the job done. I had previously used the Conair S3CS 2" Profesional Ceramic Wet-Dry Straightener, but felt that it was damaging my hair so I wanted to invest in something a little nicer that would be less harsh on my hair. I researched hair straighteners extensively but couldn't find one that was reviewed as being great enough to spend $200 on - so, when I saw this one at Target, I picked it up and it has worked great.

Loved it, and miss it dearly.
I had this straightener somewhere between 3 1/2-4 years. I had crazy, choppy layers in my hair (my hair is very think FYI) and I would use the straightener to straighten, but mostly to flip my hair out. It worked marvelously. Now, I no longer have it because for me too, the lights stopped working on it, and then a while after that when I would use it, it would make electric pop and crackle sounds before finally deciding to stop turning on. I used it on 400 degrees everytime, and anything you use for years and years at that temperature is going to short out. Personally, I think it is worth the price. As hot as I used it, and as much hairspray as I used, it never ever damaged my hair, and that's saying something. I went to Ulta to get a second bed-head straightener when this one died, and they didn't have any. I wound up with a Hot Tools, and I really don't care for it too much. My hair has become damaged, it doesn't feel nice in my hand, and if I tried to flip my hair with it I just...

LOVE It
I absolutely love this straightner. I've had mine for a bit more than 2 years and it's worked great. I had straightners before that would leave my hair super frizzy or wouldn't last a whole day, but this one left my hair smooth and lasted long. Plus I have long, thick hair and the 2 inch tiles allow me to straigten my hair in no more than 30 minutes. Just recently I've had a problem keeping the straighner on because I think the wire is loose or something. Anyway I ordered this off of Amazon since the store I bought it from no longer had it. I placed the order over 2 months ago and it still hasn't shipped...EDIT(October): Straightner finally shipped. Arrived in a timely maner; haven't used the product yet but looks the same as the old one I've had.

Good Straightener
I've had this straightener for a long time and I love it! I especially love that you can change the temperature so I can use it on my sister's hair on a lower setting so as not to fry her locks, while mine are already damaged so I crank it. After about 3 years it started to malfunction. I still use it but I have to slide the power button back and forth for it to power on, and I always unplug it when I'm finished since it will turn on randomly by itself. I think it's just a problem with the switch itself, but doesn't bother me. As far as doing its job it's still going strong!

GREAT LITTLE TRAVEL FLAT IRON
I purchased this flat iron before a trip to Israel in early March mainly because I wanted one I wasn't emotionally attached to ()in case it got left overseas. WAS I SURPRISED!! This little flat iron, while not heavy on the settings, packs a punch for its size and cost. It is tiny, so flat ironing long curly hair is a beast (but I stand as witness that it can be done and it definitely gets hot enough). Its great for curling too. It gave me great soft curls. I never had an issue as some of the other reviewers did of burning myself, but I'm a little ocd about that sort of thing anyways and am pretty careful with it (so maybe they just weren't being careful?). I didn't use the dual voltage setting on it since I had a pretty nice power adapter/converter...

This straightener is great!
My straightener broke, and I borrowed this straightener from my friend. I was going to buy a replacement of my old one but instead bought one of these for myself! Although the buttons on the handle may feel awkward, I don't find myself pressing them while straightening my hair as that would require a large amount of pressure on the handle. I love the way this styles, it is easy to curl hair under, over, and even around the round barrel-which means you can use this to create large spiral curls or the straight look. I love this straightener because it has everything I want in one tool. This straightener is great!

Fixes exactly that - bed head :)
It heats up super quick, and it works the best out of any flat irons I have used in the past - especially for this price! Works as well as any chi straightener or babyliss. Comes with a carrying case for the bag too, which is nice and stores it (kinda confusing in how to store the flat iron in the bag though, trying to maneuver the wires and store it, etc.. you'll see for yourself!). The plastic makes it look kinda cheap, but what matters is the results it produces. Different settings for heat too, and turns off if it's been on for an hour. Tourmaline technology to defrizz and keep away the fly aways. Allows me to flat iron my hair in record time when I'm in a rush, very, very highly recommend!

A good flat iron at a great price
Two great things about this flat iron:1. It heats up extremely fast - a minute or less. I don't turn it on until I start blow drying my hair. I have short, fine hair and it is hot a minute into the drying.2. It has a narrow width, making it perfect for shorter hair.I would change a couple things about this flat iron if I could. For one thing, the plastic material on the outside of the iron heats up, too. You have to be careful not to touch your skin because it gets pretty hot. Seems like they could have used a more heat resistant material to prevent this.Also, another minor issue is that the on/off button has to be held down for a couple seconds to turn it on and off. I would prefer a regular switch.Overall, this is the best flat iron I have ever owned, and while that's not saying much, I believe this is a great iron for most people. I would buy it again an recommend it to others.
